As a business you have a legal duty of care to make sure that you do the right thing with your waste. All waste should be handled, stored and disposed of safely, within the law and without causing harm to the environment.
Legislative changes from the Simpler Recycling Reforms, being implemented by the Government, will affect the way your business manages its waste. By law from 31st March 2025, all businesses with at least 10 full time equivalent employees will be required to recycle their dry mixed items, such as glass, metal, plastics, paper, and card, and will no longer be able to put these items in a general waste bin.
Businesses will also be required to separate out any food waste from their general waste. If your business produces any amount of food waste – including your employees lunch leftovers even if you don’t have a canteen – then you will need to separate it from general waste and arrange a collection. Food waste includes tea bags, fruit cores, coffee grinds and plate scrapings.

Recycling collections
Recycling is 20 to 50% cheaper than the equivalent waste disposal, easy with our reliable teams and means your business is doing the right thing for the environment.
Food waste
We are not directly running a food waste collection service; however, we are working with a third party to offer a food waste collection. Although a different contractor will undertake the collections, all the administration and invoicing can be kept together through us.
