Councillor surgeries
How do I meet the councillors that represent my ward?
Each electoral ward in Derby has three councillors (also called ‘electoral members’).
Find the councillors in your ward.
You can meet councillors at:
- Virtual Surgeries – these are online meetings held by Councillors for local people to raise issue in their area. Appointments are arranged by Members Services and can be requested by completing the virtual councillor surgery request form.
- Neighbourhood Forums - these are local meetings held every three months in your area where you can meet your councillors, as well as members of your Neighbourhood Board – the group that leads on behalf of the neighbourhood.
Councillors may take up residents’ issues with Council officers, the local Neighbourhood Board or with a specific committee.
Councillor surgery dates
Due to the coronavirus outbreak all councillor surgeries are cancelled until further notice. Please instead contact your local councillor on their mobile phones.
