Council Plan 2019-2023
Our Council Plan 2019-2023 sets out our long-term vision for Derby as
A caring and successful city at the heart of the Midlands, proud of its heritage and ambitious for the future
It also describes the opportunities and challenges that the city and council face, and our priorities under three themes:
- A city with big ambitions
- A city of health and happiness
- A council focused on the things that matter
As the Council's highest strategic planning document, the vision, themes, focus and values of the Council Plan inform all our priorities for action, and the decisions that we take about how to use our resources.
Derby Recovery Plan 2021/22
Responding to, and living with, the impacts of COVID-19 has represented one of the greatest challenges for a generation. Since the start of the pandemic, in March 2020, the Council has worked with partners and stakeholders towards a common aim of supporting the city’s response and recovery, mitigating risks and developing any opportunities emerging from the pandemic.
The Derby Recovery Plan document sets out what actions we will take to support the city to build back and build back better, replacing our annual Council Delivery Plan.
Cabinet approved the Recovery Plan in February 2021. It will be reviewed at least every three months to monitor progress and to identify any changes that need to be made to the actions within the plan. We will report back to Cabinet regularly.
