Retention schedule

It is a principal of the Data Protection Act 2018 that personal information is kept for "no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the personal data are processed". We ensure that once the information is no longer needed, it is securely disposed of in compliance with the Council’s Document Retention Schedule.

The Document Retention Schedule is currently a working document and is being reviewed.
