Reuse Raynesway shop
The Reuse Raynesway shop is a great place to donate your unwanted, good quality items and grab a bargain.
From books, children’s toys and games to household items and records, our Reuse Raynesway shop might have just what you need at a fraction of the cost of buying new. Most importantly, every purchase helps reduce waste and support Derby's sustainability goals.
Our Raynesway Reuse shop is a permanent feature at the Raynesway Household Waste and Recycling Centre (HWRC), currently opening:
- Mondays: 8am to 6pm
- Fridays: 12noon to 6pm
- Saturdays: 8am to 6pm
How it works
You don’t need to book a visit to Raynesway if you are only going to the reuse shop - you can turn up on the day. Let the staff on the gate know that you are there just for the shop, and they will direct you to parking at the bottom side of the centre.
If you have booked a recycling visit and would also like to use the shop as well, please move your car to the bottom side parking bays, to keep the recycling bays free.
The stock changes daily, with prices set by HM Martin - the recycling centre operators, not Derby City Council. A proportion of the proceeds will go back into running the Reuse shop and initiatives at Raynesway, with a share being used to provide vital support to resident’s most in need, through the Councils Welfare Reform team.
You can pay by card or cash if you have the correct change. Only small amounts of cash are kept on site.
Donate your goods
Any items that come to the recycling centre that are in good condition will be forwarded to the reuse shop. If you can sort these items before your journey, this will keep the centre flowing quickly and smoothly. If you only have items to donate to the shop you still need to book a visit, but please let the staff know on arrival that the items are for the reuse shop.
Thank you for your support.
