This could include homelessness, being an ex-offender, experience of the care system or refugee status, but other barriers may also apply.
Our Connect to Work programme is designed around you and by working with one of our friendly supported employment officers you will get all the help you need to find and stay in a job. As well as personalised help with CVs and applications and support to overcome interview nerves, we can assist with accessing funding that can help remove barriers. We will also work with you and employers to help them understand your capabilities at work and so smooth the transition into a job.

I am really pleased [my adviser] spoke to me about the programme and grateful for all her support. I gained the skills and experience to get to where I wanted to be. I know I would not have been able get my apprenticeship if it wasn’t for being part of the programme.
