Costco Bus Lane

Derby City Council (Costco Bus Lane) (Amendment to Map Based Schedule) (No. 59) (Experimental) Order 2022

DERBY CITY COUNCIL made this Experimental Order on the 13th day of June 2024, which will become effective from the 21st day of June 2024 for a period of 18 months, under Section 1, 2, 4, 9, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49, 53 and part IV of schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and under the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers in that behalf:

The purpose of the order is to bring into effect the following:

  • Chequers Road, from its junction with Wyvernside to the Costco western entrance.
  • Bus, Cycle and Hackney Carriages Only (7am to 10am and 3pm to 6pm) to replace existing Bus, Cycle and Hackney Carriages Only.
  • One Way for All Vehicles to remain.

A copy of the Experimental Order together with maps which show the definitive extents of the order and a copy of the authority’s Statement of Reasons for making the Experimental Order:

  • Q24 - Costco Bus Lane

Derby City Council will be considering, in due course, whether the provisions of these Experimental Orders should be continued in force indefinitely.

Anyone wishing to object to the Experimental Order continuing in force indefinitely, should state their grounds of objection, sending it in writing to Derby City Council, Traffic and Transportation, Communities and Place, Council House, Corporation Street, Derby, DE1 2FS or by email to traffic.management@derby.gov.uk to be received no later than the 21st of December 2024.
