Midland Road, Railway Terrace and Calvert Street.

This scheme will provide improved facilities for pedestrians and cyclists on Midland Road, Railway Terrace and Calvert Street.

The proposals include:

• enhanced cycle links to the city centre
• wider foot paths and improved pedestrian crossings
• improved public realm

In 2022, we carried out a consultation to give the public a chance to comment on our plans for the area:

• Midland Road, Railway Terrace and Calvert Street: Plan 1
• Midland Road, Railway Terrace and Calvert Street: Plan 2
