Housing benefit - information for landlords
Online service for landlords
We now offer landlords a new and updated service providing round the clock secure access to Housing Benefit records.
With a single login, you can view any claim to see:
- claims in payment
- award details
- payment details
- current and closed claims
- current and previous year records.
Please note, this information is only provided about tenants to landlords where we are paying the landlord Housing Benefit directly for that tenant. Any information that we give you access to about your tenants must only be used for the purposes of managing their rent account, and must not be shared with any other third parties.
Information is not available where the tenant receives payment themselves.
How do I apply?
You will need to tell us your:
- full name
- creditor reference (if known)
- telephone number
- email address you want us to contact you on.

What happens next?
We will create your online account and provide you with a username and password so that you can log in to your account. We will send your username and password in separate emails to maintain security of your account.
We no longer issue paper payment schedules. Instead, when we make a payment to you, we will send you an email inviting you to log into your online account so you can check what payment has been made, the names of the tenants involved and the period any payments cover.
