Transport for 16 to 19 year olds

Students over 16 years old do not receive free home to school transport.

Students up to the age of 19 in full-time education receive one third off the adult fare on public transport at any time with a b_line 2 card.

b_line 2 is the free discount, travel and library card for 14 to 18 year olds in Derby and Derbyshire, or students in full-time education up to their 19th birthday.

You can get a b_line 2 card:

• through schools or colleges
• submitting an application to Derbyshire County Council
